In January 2011, Robert R. Berluti, John T. McLaughlin, and Edward D. Kutchin joined together in recognition of their synergistic practices to form Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP (BMK). BMK continues the legacy achieved by each partner, providing sophisticated, value-oriented representation to entrepreneurs and businesses in matters including corporate, real estate, commercial finance, and complex civil litigation at both trial and appellate levels, and all forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Kerry Northup, who was a partner at Kutchin and Rufo in 2010, came to join BMK in 2011 alongside Attorney Kutchin. When asked about the first few years at BMK, Northup replied 'The vision has always been to support small and medium sized businesses and their owners with everything that they need both ... to support their companies needs and their personal needs, estate planning and the like.'

Throughout the past 15 years, BMK's corporate law team has taken on high net worth matters such as the sale of equity interests for $130+ million in 2022 and $95 Million multi- lender credit facility involving a nationwide fuel distributor in 2017. Simultaneously, the trial advocacy team was fighting for their clients in MA supreme court, such as arbitrating a valuation of shares matter in 2015 and securing a ruling in favor of their client in a case regarding gender discrimination, Wage Act violations and breach of contract in 2020. More recent client wins include the $1.3 million jury verdict in a fraud and misrepresentation case tried by Robert Berluti or the $1.9 million bench award secured by Attorney Berluti with the help of Associate Attorney Brendan Cooke for breach of contract.
